FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about our process, data sources, and deliverables.
What data sources do you use?
We pull from authoritative federal databases including HRSA’s Shortage Designation Management System (SDMS), CMS NPPES provider registry, Census Bureau American Community Survey (ACS), and CDC National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). Every data point is cited with its source, dataset, table, and year.
Do you handle PHI?
No. We work exclusively with publicly available federal datasets. No protected health information (PHI) is collected, stored, or processed at any point in our workflow. This means no BAA is required to engage us.
How long does a county analysis take?
County-level data enrichment reports are delivered within 48 hours. HPSA application development takes 2–4 weeks. Score optimization consulting takes 1–2 weeks. Correctional facility batch applications are scoped individually, typically 2–6 weeks depending on the number of facilities.
Can you submit HPSA applications on our behalf?
We prepare complete application packages with all data compiled, scores calculated, narratives drafted, and supporting documentation assembled. You review the package, make any edits, and submit to HRSA. We do not submit on your behalf, as HRSA requires organizational authorization from the applicant or their State Primary Care Office.
What states do you cover?
All 50 states, U.S. territories, and the District of Columbia. Our federal data sources have national coverage. We can analyze any county, facility, or service area in the country.
Do you offer volume pricing?
Yes. Organizations needing analysis for multiple counties, facilities, or service areas receive volume pricing. State Departments of Corrections and consulting firms managing large portfolios should contact us directly for custom engagement pricing.
